Upcoming Road Events
Sep. 28, 2017The Piedmont Flyers Bicycle Club Tuesday / Thursday Road Rides:The A, B and C groups will all ride the same routes on most nights. All riders will roll out of the Shallowford Square at 6pm in small groups of 10-12 riders and regroup at the Lewisville Fire Station. The A’s will leave 1-2 minutes before B’s and the B’s 1-2 minutes ahead of the C’s to keep the groups separated. We encourage riders to ride with a faster group and fall back if they want to have a harder ride. Please respect the pace of the ride you are on with the knowledge that if/when you get dropped, there is a group behind you.Note: Our training rides are self supported rides. Please have the knowledge and tools required to replace a flat and have the ability to find your way back to the square if needed. A link to a ride map is provided for each ride below.2017 Pace GroupsA Group – 22.5+ mphB Group – 20-22 mphC Group – 17-19 mph
